A5 Steakhouse

A great restaurant meal can be an act of storytelling and transportation. Sliding onto a stool at a bar, being met with a glassy and silky martini punctuated with a briny olive, is there to prepare you for a plate of finely-shucked oysters that were bobbing in the Atlantic 36 hours ago. In this moment the noise and cacophony can melt away, your phone finds its way back into your pocket, and we find communion with those of us on our left and right. We place a premium on doing the work to find producers, growers, and ranchers that have values that align with our own. It’s our desire to bring food to your table that speaks to its sense of place and time, and to be able to bring the connection to those producers to a higher level of consciousness.

Ash’Kara and Chef Reggie Dotson explore the continuous evolution of Israeli cuisine, with ingredients and flavors from across Europe and North Africa, including Yemen, Syria, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey and Spain, into a menu of shareable items from the restaurant’s wood-fired oven, including roasted vegetables, house-made pita, hummus and spreadable sides, large-format proteins, vegetables and sides cooked in traditional Tagine clay pots.

Red Tops Rendezvous

We are bringing Detroit-style pizza and other Italian favorites like chicken parmesan, chicken piccata, meatballs and more to the Jefferson Park neighborhood in early Fall 2022. Partner Kevin Eddy remembers Sundays in Detroit when his grandfather and grandmother would have his family, aunts, uncles and about a dozen cousins over to enjoy this unique (cheesy) square slice. <br> Detroit-style pizza is not only infamous for its square shape but its red top, making sauce the last step in the cooking process… hence the name! Including Rendezvous is an homage to the early French settlers in Detroit. Rendezvous also means “date” or “meeting” in French, and we love that you’ll think of us as a gathering place for friends and family.

Prost Brewing Co. is a Colorado craft brewery focused on crafting only the finest German-style biers. They honor their German heritage by sourcing high-quality ingredients directly from Germany and by following traditional brewing practices and lagering techniques. The results? A cleaner, more refined bier that is approachable yet layered with complexities. The Culinary Creative Group was hired to design a menu for Prost Brewing Co. that would complement their German-style biers. Prost had previously relied on food trucks and wanted to become a full beer garden in order to appeal to more families and business people in the area. The addition of a full menu, which was created by The Culinary Creative Group’s Max Mackissock, achieved that.
